Competence development in Internal Audit - Part 1

In this E.Learning, you will get to know a brief introduction to issues relating to the development of competencies in internal auditing. After the individual questions have been addressed, which result in the structure of a series of several e-learning courses on competence development that build on one another, the Internal Audit Competency Framework in the 2020 version will be presented.

The content is transferred to problems of the 'fictitious' audit team of Windsurf SE, which you may already know from other e-learning courses at the Internal Audit Academy.

At the end of each chapter, the content is deepened in learning tests.

This E.learning is structured in the following chapters:

• IPPF requirements for competence development in internal auditing

• Overview of the topic of competence development in auditing

• Structure of the IIA Competency Framework
• Use of the IIA Competency Framework by individual auditors
• Use of the IIA Competency Framework by audit teams
• Practical case study on competence development at Windsurf SE

The case study serves as an example of how the requirements and procedures of the Competency Framework of the IIA could be implemented in operational practice. Through the transfer, you can derive approaches for your own competence development and you can use this according to your role as an employee or as a manager.

This E.Learning takes 1 hour (50 minutes) with a price of EUR 32.50 incl. VAT.  Finally, a test of 10 questions on the content of the E.Learning must be completed. After passing the final test (70%), you can download a course certificate that you can use as proof of your professional development. Since the expertise relates to one of the four ethics requirements in the audit, you will receive 1 ethics CPE (Continuous Professional Education).
